Funeral Service – Greifensee – Wetzikon – Uster – That I may speak of death in this way, and yet my cheeks will not discolour!
Prayer and Meditation
It's evening, the sun has disappeared and the moon shines silvery. This is how life's most beautiful hours flee, flee by as if in a dance. Life's colorful scene soon flees, and the curtain rolls down. Our game is over, our friend's tears are already falling on our grave. Maybe soon (like a soft west wind a quiet presentiment blows towards me),
I will end this life's pilgrimage, fly to the land of peace. When you will weep at my grave, mourn and see my ashes, then, o friends, I will appear to you and I will blow you heavenward. You too give me a little tear and pluck a violet for my grave. And then gently look down on me with your soulful eyes. Bless me a tear, and alas! Don't be ashamed to dedicate it to me. Oh, it will then be the most beautiful pearl in my tiara!

I feel more and more the forces dwindle. This is the death that gnaws at my heart, I already know it and what you keep saying. You won't blindfold me. Tired and tired, I squirm until the veiled morning finally dawns. Then the evening falls and whoever asks about me will only find a quiet man.
That I may speak of death and dying in this way, and yet my cheeks will not discolour. It seems courageous to you, almost cocky. The death! - the death? The word does not frighten me, but I have not grasped him in my heart and have not yet looked him in the face. All the best on the final journey and find the long-awaited peace!
