I can still feel her breath on my cheeks: how can it be that these near days are gone, gone forever, and completely gone? This is a thing that no one fully thinks out. I didn't build myself, I didn't destroy myself, I've served many, never belonged to me. There were many celebrations in the hall - How laughed it was upstairs! Down below, however, sat the night. The sun shone in, the stars shone in, what goes into the window: A bit of light Now without door and roof – I can see around, but no soul lives inside anymore. Through the gaps in the wall another wind out here and in there!

How soon and also that will have been. The sea foams up below, here at my feet springs a fountain of mossy tortoise, happy to greet the day. And the young wave flashes in the sun's rays. Hasty and overheated it rushes down into the valley. Almost with a single glance I can see a perfect destiny, becoming and passing away. Long or short course, poor or rich - In the wide ocean the calm is the same.
